Job description

Sales Executive/New Business/Account Manager - 25,000 plus generous commission

T-Impact are currently experiencing a record upturn in client interest and are looking to strengthen our sales force with Inside Sales Executives who can work to open new opportunities and nurture and close sales leads. A truly generous, unlimited commission structure is available, with realistic obtainable targets and you will have the opportunity to ultimately progress into a field sales role.

Your responsibilities will include:- Delivering new sales leads for the business through outbound calling
- 60:40 time split between new customer prospecting and lead nurturing activities
- New customer prospecting involves building relationships with new name customers through outbound calling, understanding business challenges and relating back to solutions. Lead nurturing involves managing a growing pool of customer leads through sales qualification stages to ultimately pass leads to the field sales manager
- Use of social media tools such as LinkedIn to identify and approach potential prospects, supporting sales and marketing campaigns, generating interest in events and networking
- Managing sales opportunities for recurring and software license sales through to completion
- Attending events to develop network and identify new customer prospects
- Articulating the T-Impact value proposition both over the phone or written format

To be successful in this role you will need to be outspoken, driven and direct. You will have outstanding interpersonal, telephone and communication skills and be highly motivated with a positive can do attitude. The ability to listen, absorb information and influence decisions is essential. A critical part of the role will involve training on new technologies and practicing to reinforce your new skills.

Ideally you will be able to demonstrate experience in the following:- Successful track record of setting appointments over the phone and via e-mail, including hitting and exceeding targets
- Strong networking and relationship building skills, both face-to-face and online (eg LinkedIn)
- Ability to listen to, influence and guide decision makers
- Clear, concise, focused communicator both orally and written
- Good computer literacy (MS Office products such as Word and Excel, use of social media)
- Identifying and accessing decision makers
- Ability to make professional, outstanding information gathering and sales calls
- Effective closing of appointments
- Ability to assimilate new information quickly, ideally in a technology environment
- Experience with CRMs, outbound diallers and/or sales management tools
- 2 years of direct telephone sales experience
