LOCATION: Earby, Lancashire
JOB TITLE: Purchase Ledger Clerk
SALARY and BENEFITS: Competitive pay dependent on previous experience plus Excellent Holiday Entitlements, 10% Pension Contribution, Employee Share-save Scheme and Profit Bonus
WORKING HOURS: 37 hours per week

THE COMPANY: Our client located in Earby, Lancashire (UK) is principally a manufacturer of complex precision components, and sub-assemblies predominantly for the commercial aerospace market. They are a global company turning over 820m and a profit over 80m who are constantly growing so now seek a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their existing financial team.

THE ROLE: As a Purchase Ledger Clerk you report to the Financial Controller you will work alongside a team and be responsible for all aspects of high volume purchase ledger processing.

Key Responsibilities for the Purchase Ledger Clerk role in Earby, Lancashire include:

- Coding and processing Invoices
- Month End close and all relevant ledger recs
- Reconciling and posting petty cash
- Preparing and producing weekly BACS runs
- Reconciling statements
- Investigating and resolving all queries
- Dealing with suppliers via phone and email

THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate for the Purchase Ledger Clerk's role must be an organised person who is accurate with their work. Ideal candidates will have experience within Purchase Ledger or a similar position within a high volume, busy paced environment. Candidates must have or be working towards an AAT level qualification, or an equivalent QBE.

Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the Purchase Ledger Clerk's role in Earby Lancashire :-

- Previous experience as a Purchase Ledger or similar position in Purchase Ledger is essential
- Must hold or be working towards an AAT level qualification or and equivalent QBE
- Must be accurate, highly organised and able to work well under pressure
- Be able to commute to Earby, Lancashire
