As a Customer Service Advisor based in our Glasgow office, you will be part of a busy and energetic open plan environment within an established investment servicing team.
Barclays Private Client Services are responsible for around 20,000 private clients, of which Barclays provide relationship management and regularly interface with to ensure excellent customer service. Our investment servicing team are part of the Private Client Services sector, and are there to help with investment requests, as well as the general administrative tasks our clients ask us to help them with.
As a Customer Service Advisor, your days will be varied with lots of different tasks and requests coming in. You'll need to have great attention to detail, with high levels of accuracy, and the ability to manage your own workload. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate integrity and customer focus, whilst contributing to our positive work culture.

As a Customer Service Advisor, your main responsibilities will involve:
* Delivering a professional service through inbound/outbound calls and written communications
* Carrying out administrative tasks and placing investment deals to the live market
* Effective management of your own workload, including client contact
* Adhering to regulatory requirements and ensuring client satisfaction is maximised
As a Customer Service Advisor, your skills and qualifications will include:
* Previous experience working in a contact centre environment / customer services background is advantageous
* An ability to work closely with others in a high-performing team
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
* Ability to demonstrate integrity and customer focus at all times
* An interest in the financial markets would be fantastic
* High attention to detail, with excellent accuracy skills
* Flexibility in working in evolving work environments
