You'll learn to lay and clear mines, place demolition charges and build water crossings. Even more than that, you'll play a crucial part in our humanitarian efforts like mapping disaster relief plans and ensuring the safety of our troops and civilians. You will learn and apply all types of mapping techniques like geo-political, demographic, air space and geographic to name a few.

LEARN NEW SKILLS
You'll start with your basic soldier training and then it'll be nine weeks at the Royal School of Military Engineering Regiment near Camberley, learning military engineering skills like knots and lashings, demolition, mine warfare and bridge building. You'll finish with 39 weeks' technical training at the Royal School of Military Survey in Hermitage, learning how to compile, prepare and manage geographical data. Your training will take you far - both inside and outside the Army as you gain transferable, sought after skills.

GAIN QUALIFICATIONS
