LOCATION: Birmingham, West Midlands

JOB TITLE: Telesales Executive

WORKING HOURS: Full Time- Monday - Friday

Our client is the UK leading safety and workplace supplier, part of Bunzl plc, a global FTSE 100 company. They specialise in the supply of goods and materials in the following sectors: Personal Protective Equipment, Cleaning and Hygiene Supplies and Contractors' Site Equipment. Purchasing and logistics is their business.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for proactive, dynamic and self-motivated individuals to join a successful Desk Sales team. You will be responsible for contacting all customers on allocated territories to maintain and increase sales, provide excellent customer service. You will deal with all customer issues/ queries/ requests for product and service information promptly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities to include:-

- To telephone customers within allocated territories to regain and increase business by working with and completing current template/checklist for each call
- To make calls a day as minimum standard
- Build up excellent customer relationships and deliver outstanding customer care.
- Maintain records of calls and customer contact details using telemarketing on G2B(our system)
- Actively participate in all sales promotions, Drive Days
- Customer quotations
- Promote Company Core Range and Website
- Develop excellent working relationships with BCHS branches
- Use of Red Ball Report on G2B to identify and target nil spend accounts

THE CANDIDATE: We are looking for personable individuals with a talent for rapport building and developing relationships. This is an inbound and outbound telephone based sales role, and therefore similar past career experience, resilience and a strong, professional telephone manner is essential. Experience of working towards KPIs is also beneficial.

Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the role:-

- Experience within a sales/ customer service environment
- Clear and concise communication skills
- The ability to talk to a variety of different people
- Administration skills, demonstrating numeracy and literacy
- Hungry to progress career and earning potentials
