LOCATION: Liverpool (South)

JOB TITLE: Support Workers (Social Care)

SALARY and BENEFITS: Circa 16K pro rata plus 20% enhancements for evening and weekends

WORKING HOURS: Part time/Full time/Bank roles

THE COMPANY: Our client is the UK's leading charity supporting disabled people. For over 65 years they have supported disabled people in many different ways.

THE ROLE: Support Workers (Social Care) - Liverpool (South)

My client has support worker vacancies in 2 locations in Liverpool, L1 8DW which is a supportive living role in purpose built accommodation, and L25 7UL, a Residential home providing a range of services for adults with physical and sensory impairments.

You don't need experience to join our team. All you need is a positive attitude with a common sense approach. You will be provided with training and support. You will receive paid induction training, on-going specialist training as well as the potential opportunity to complete NVQ level 2 (Diploma in Care).

Key Responsibilities to include: - Support Workers (Social Care)- Liverpool (South)

To be involved in supporting service users with their daily needs.
To have the ability to document accurately the support delivered.
To undertake additional responsibilities as requested, following the successful completion of specific training and personal skills development.

Key Experience preferred for the role:- Support Workers (Social Care)- Liverpool (South)
- Experience of providing personal care would be desirable, but not essential
- Flexibility to work hours on a 7 day rota essential
- Good basic literacy and numeracy
- To be willing to undertake required training (including updates), sometimes off site and outside normal working hours.
- Experience of working with disabled people is desirable
- An engaging manner with ability to build rapport with people.
- Passion, enthusiasm and a real commitment to make a difference to people lives
- A reliable approach to work
- Car and own vehicle desirable but not essential
- A satisfactory enhanced DBC check is required for this post
