Job description

Do you have experience in and a passion for recruiting? Are you looking to move from a sales focused position to an internal role to build your skills and develop? Do you want to work in an award winning, growing and employee focused company? Then this could be the perfect position for you.

This role is responsible for the entire recruitment and administration function and driving improvement of the department (including attracting talent through advertising, social media, referrals and any other means possible). The role requires a pro-active, driven individual who understands the importance of data protection and confidentiality.

You will assist line managers by arranging interviews, ensuring a positive experience for candidates through regular communication, writing candidate summaries, ensure all positions are advertised efficiently and completing all required adhoc administration duties that form part of the recruitment role.

Responsibilities
In all areas, ensure that company policies and procedures are consistently applied to required standards.

1: Interviewing
- You will take a proactive approach in assisting with all aspects of the recruitment process.
- The HR Manager will provide you with all the information required to advertise roles. All roles must be advertised within 24 hours of receipt with 1st interviews booked within 10 working days
- Once interviews are completed, ensure the recruitment spreadsheet is updated and candidate summaries are created
- Pro-active searches for candidates who have not applied directly for roles, specifically in the Estate Management team. Engage, inform and arrange interviews for the strongest people in the industry.
- Minimise the costs of recruitment especially with regards to agency fees.
- Focus on the improvement of the recruitment strategy and look for new avenues to find staff

2: Recruitment Administration
- Ensure all interviews are booked in a meeting room, HR and Recruitment Managers diary, the appropriate Line Managers diary and logged on the recruitment spreadsheet
- All new starter paperwork, including offer and contract information, is created and sent in a timely fashion and accurately.
- All unsuccessful candidates are rejected within 5 working days of their interview
- All successful are advised ASAP after interview to ensure none are lost to competitors
- Keep a file of all interview and candidate notes to prove a fair process if ever challenged

3: Data Protection and Confidentiality
- Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of all employees' details. Never share this information with anyone else in the company unless authorised.

The above duties are not exhaustive and you will be required to complete any other adhoc duties as dictated by the role.

Role - Internal Recruiter
Salary Range - 20,000 - 25,000 pa, dependant on experience
Type - Permanent Full-time
Working Hours - 9am - 6pm, mon-fri (or 8:30am - 5:30pm)
Location - Cambridge
