Job description

An opportunity has arisen in Telford for x2 Vendor Administrator who will be required to provide administration support to the Sourcing team to meet requirements of the Sourcing Strategy. As a Vendor Administrator you will be reporting to the IT Sourcing Manager with day to day operational reporting to the Vendor Analyst.

Vendor Administrator - Major Accountabilities- Largely provide data/documentation reconciliation, gap analysis and remediation support including
- Validate accuracy of key contract data held in the contracts database re-mediate any gaps with suppliers/internal staff
- Upload scanned active contracts into global contracts database and re-mediate any gaps
- Review the Sourcing mail box and transfer relevant documents to the shared drives
- Compare documentation held vs. documents required per the Supplier Management Framework and re-mediate any gaps
- Review the software licence renewal schedules and engage suppliers to co-term renewal dates
- Provide other admin support to the wider sourcing team as required
- You will be required to communicate effectively with Business partners and external suppliers

Vendor Administrator - Ideal Background and Experience- High level of literacy and numeracy
- Attention to detail is critical
- Structured and methodical approach to work
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Tools (including Excel, Outlook and Word)
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Confident self-starter with natural ability to engage with senior staff/external parties
- Excellent communications skills
- Ideally basic understanding of supplier contracts
- A levels required at a minimum

These Vendor Administrator roles are for a 3 month rolling period paying market rate.
