Job description

An exciting opportunity to join a small, highly successful company in its seventh year of trading, planning for the next stage of its expansion. Revolutionising the way that transport companies manage their operations; the Company is headquartered in Hungerford with rapidly growing development and technical facilities in London and Cambridgeshire. The Company develops and delivers cutting-edge integrated online transport management solutions, selling both hardware solutions and related hosted software services.

Due to significant growth in their customer base, they are looking to expand their team and are seeking an enthusiastic person to work, full time, in their sales and support team at their Hungerford offices as a Customer Support.

The role will involve (but will not be limited to):
- Engaging with customers, primarily over the phone or by email, and enhancing the company's already well renowned name in supporting their customers
- Building and managing relationships with customers, and assisting them in getting the most out of their systems
- Assisting in the delivery of customer product and further development of their innovative Card Bureau service
- Some sales enquiry handling and order taking
- Fielding initial support and common technical queries where possible, and escalating if necessary;
- Coordinating some of their partners and liaising with all parts of the business to ensure the best possible customer experience
- Some travel within the UK

Whilst the company believes that experience and qualifications are an advantage, a positive attitude, a friendly manner, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential for this role. The right individual will be a good communicator, quick to learn, positive and adaptable. As well as enjoying working in a small friendly team, you will be a good "self-starter" and comfortable in an environment with minimal supervision.

Although we are primarily looking for someone who is keen, the ideal candidate will;
- Be familiar with the Microsoft Office suite, Excel and Outlook in particular;
- Have a passion for delivering great customer service;
- Have a reasonable degree of competence in IT;
- Be able to absorb new systems/technologies;
- Be able to prioritise effectively, whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail;

The candidate will also have a full current driving licence and use of a car (mileage allowance will be provided for any company travel).
