Business Development Manager - SaaS Social Media Advertising Platform - c.40-55k base x2 OTE

SaaS Based Individual Contributor Role at a Social Media Marketing, Personalisation and Optimisation Advertising Platform c.40-55k x2 OTE, Central London

The Company

This advertising platform utilises IBM's Watson supercomputer capabilities to analyse a customer's interaction on social media, painting a picture of their personality and how they like to interact with companies on social media.

The technology is able to advertise on the same social media platforms optimising the data and information from the supercomputer analytics.

The company is a start-up and has experienced some dramatic growth and work with tier one companies across Europe and the US.

The Job- This role is a mid-level sales position, building out your own pipeline (alongside an inside sales team) and closing 30k deals into retail/ecommerce.
- Full sales cycle role, whilst there will be warm leads generated but there will still be a focus on keeping the sales pipeline full and closing sales
- Pitching deals with the size 30k pitching to CXOs of blue chip brands and retailers
- Create, manage and support sales proposals including RFPs and RFIs, providing assistance where needed
- Developing and building relationships with clients, drawing in support of key stakeholders to help close the sale
- Persistence and drive to smash a 350-450k target
- Attend events and keep you updated on social media marketing news

You- Must have 2 years sales experience selling an enterprise level software preferably a digital marketing technology or social media marketing
- Experience closing deals 20k
- Interest in tech, social, data and marketing
- Hungry and driven to close sales and feed the pipeline
- Happy to build their own leads over the phone or utilising your own contact base
- Experience selling into the UK market a must!
