Account Director, Full Service Agency, Milton Keynes, 40,000 - 45,000, Permanent

Our client is an award winning full service B2B agency based in Milton Keynes, whose clients include well known automotive and leisure/travel brands, as well as high profile charities.

The agency has been established for over 25 years now and is 40 strong with account handling, project management, creative, digital and data teams. Based in a modern building across two floors, this agency doesnt adopt a hierarchical system. Favouring instead a collaborative team approach.

They are looking for a well-established, seasoned Account Director to join their team and help build and manage strong working relationships internally and with all levels of clients. Building trust through integrity, high quality marketing consultancy and successful delivery of projects.

Key responsibilities:

- You will work alongside other senior members of the team (planning/head of digital/head of creative etc) to produce research and insight based on a clients objective. Producing a strategy and subsequent roll out of a marketing campaign
- Youll lead the pitch process with all clients and have the ability to build relationships and trust with the client, to get their buy in and engagement. Winning new clients
- Work to targets, growing accounts through research/insight/building client relationships
- Oversee all accounts, leading Account and Project Managers who will manage the day to day running of all projects
- Write clear, thought provoking creative briefs, presentations and pitches

With a strong background in B2B marketing, integrated projects and working with large blue chip clients, you will be as at home with digital and social platforms as you are working with integrated campaigns covering cross-media disciplines.

You will be eager to manage a variety of projects, happy to manage and develop your own client portfolio as well as helping the account team shape and direct the continued growth of all accounts.

Skills needed:

- Significant experience in professional client relationship management with blue chip clients/. Able to partner the client to understand their business needs, issues, priorities and strategic lever
- A track record of successfully growing revenue streams and client accounts through strategic input. Working with Planners, Heads of Department to conduct research and insight which will result in formulating strategies for integrated marketing campaigns.
- Significant experience of B2B marketing
- A background in digital and integrated marketing campaigns
- Confident in proposing new ideas and leading clients thinking; able to bring a vision to life for the client
- Proven ability to identify revenue opportunities and take opportunities forward into scoping and closing opportunities
- A keen attention to detail and budgetary restraints
- Able to prepare and present client proposals, tenders and pitches
- Able to negotiate relevant contracts and SLAs with clients
- Able to guide and develop client accounts with plans to meet individual client sales targets
- Plenty of experience of writing clear, thought-provoking creative briefs, presentations and proposals as demonstrated by your good written and verbal communication
