Job description

LOCATION: Staffordshire, Cheshire or Shropshire

JOB TITLE: Qualified and Unqualified Residential Children's Workers

SALARY and BENEFITS: Average salary for qualified staff is circa 27k, unqualified is circa 23,600 Including bonus and enhancements.

THE ROLE: We are delighted to be working with a company that offers a range of services to children and young people who have emotional, behavioural difficulties and that cannot live with family members or within foster care. They have a great track record of helping young people achieve their targets including reunification with family members, moving on into a productive foster placement, or on into independent living.

The homes are situated in great locations that allow young people to access all the things that kids love to do such as horse riding, bowling, cinema, cadets, trampolining, football etc.

This position will be to support young people between the ages of 8 - 17 years of age to develop their physical, social and emotional well being.

We have a number of positions available for passionate Residential Child Care Workers to support the children and young people in one of the homes in the areas stated above.

Essential Criteria:

A full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Empathy, caring and sensitivity to the needs of others
IT skills

Desirable Criteria:

Relevant qualification in working with Children and Young People.
Experience of working with young people
